Isagenix Day 14

Hey There!

So I just woke up and took my day 14 measurements. So far on this program to be honest I am feeling a bit frustrated, not in the sense that I am not losing weight I mean I am down a good 10lbs. I just feel that I could probably have lost those 10lbs on my own without the system. I work out 1x a day at least, sometimes 2. I think this system may be great for you if you are just starting on your weight loss diet and do not exercise or are getting back into the swing of exercise then this may be the program for you.

I am thinking of taking a week off starting tomorrow and see what my weight loss results are for that week, if they are similar then I will probably stay off the system.

Here is my information below:

36.5% Fat
31.1 BMI
184.6 LBS

L Bicep - 13.7"
R Bicep - 14"
Chest - 39"
Waist- 39"
Hips - 44"
R Thigh - 27"
L Thigh  -27"
R Calf  - 16"
L Calf - 16"

So Far total pounds lost range anywhere from 10-12lbs (again I did not weigh myself at the start so not 100% sure how many pounds I've lost). TOTAL inches lost is - 4.8". I know a lot of the reason I may not have lost as many inches or pounds is the training I am going through. Remember muscles weighs more than fat.

Well until my next post. Stay healthy and positive!

Isagenix Day 9

Today is Day 9 on my Isagenix journey. All in all everything has been going good, I got a little faint yesterday and actually was told to leave the gym by my personal trainer. I cannot say whether or not that has to do with this system. I am going to keep an eye on how I feel over the next few days and if I keep feeling faint I may go off of it to see if that was the cause. The only reason I am unsure is for the 8 days before this I have been training hard and have felt fine.  We normally work out around 10am and this time we did not meet until 11am which is maybe part of it as it was in an odd hour where I had my morning shake at 9am and then had not yet eaten lunch.

In regards to weight / measurements they are posted below.

5.15
Starting Weight: Unsure ( I forgot to weigh myself but I think I was somewhere between 194-196)
37% Fat
31.6 BMI
L Bicep - 14"
R Bicep - 14.3"
Chest - 41.5"
Waist - 40"
Hips - 45"
R Thigh - 25"
L Thigh  - 25"
R Calf - 16"
L Calf -  16"

5.22
Current Weight: 187.3 ( Depending on my starting weight I am down somewhere between 6.7- 8.7lbs)
36.5% Fat
31.1 BMI
L Bicep - 13.5"
R Bicep - 13.5"
Chest - 40"
Waist - 39.5"
Hips - 45"
R Thigh - 25"
L Thigh  - 25"
R Calf - 16"
L Calf -  16"

I have not lost that many inches but have lost in pounds. For me I am actually just wanting to cross that 180 mark. As most people who have gone up and down with their weight there generally is a number they hit that when they do they go right back up. For me the number is 180, seeing that number gone on my scale will be HUGE for me.

Well I am off to the gym and the farmers market. Happy Saturday :)

Isagenix Day 3

Today is my 3rd day on the Isagenix system and so far so good. Isagenix offers a 9 day or a 30 day system  however, I ended up splitting the system with my mother and we are both doing a 15 day system. The smoothies are actually pretty yummy with the chocolate being my favorite, I recommend staying away from the Strawberry Cream though. It was just a bit too much and a bit too hard to get down.

For Lunch the past 2 days for my 400-600 calorie meal I made turkey meatballs with Quinoa and a bit of marinara sauce!! I borrowed the recipe from another site, you can go here to find that recipe: https://thrivingnotdepriving.wordpress.com/2013/09/11/turkey-meatballs-with-marinara-over-quinoa/

Today I started on day 1 of the full cleansing day. It is 330pm right now, the morning was actually not that bad it seemed every time I started to get a bit hungry I was drinking the cleanse or having two of the Isagenix snacks. As of right now though I am a bit hungry and I need to wait another hour or so before I have a snack.

All in All not so bad - I plan on weighing myself on Day 5 and taking measurements/ weighing myself on Day 10 so I will keep you all posted!!

Welcome to my website!

Hi All!

I am not sure if anyone is out there but I wanted to introduce myself! My name is Morgan, I am a 27 year old currently living in Chicago. I was born and raised in Boston prior to moving to Chicago roughly 3 years ago. I'd like to think I am a normal 27 year old with a desire to explore the world and share my crazy stories with whoever wants to listen.

In this blog I will be sharing my experiences in life, from nights out with friends, taking back control of my weight and traveling the world. I am also currently facing the choice of where to go next with my life.

I started working when I was 19 at a front desk position at a hotel company. I guess you can say the hospitality industry and travel has always been a part of my life. Growing up I was very fortunate to be able to travel with my family and through my school. At the age of  18 I had already visited 6 different countries (mostly Caribbean destinations). When I was a sophomore in High School I was able to travel through EF tours on a 2 week trip to Italy and Greece. Those two weeks were magical, experiencing new cultures, exploring the heritage of the locations I was in, it was safe to say I was in heaven. I did not visit Europe again however until last year and since then all of those feelings of the desire to travel came rushing back. I have recently been made aware of the possibility of being able to move to Ireland for a year on a work holiday visa. If I am being honest my first reaction is HELL YEAH! LET'S PACK MY BAGS AND GO! Unfortunately, the adult in me is having the harder time with the thoughts of "how will I make money?" "Will this affect my resume when I come back after a year?".

I left school at the age of 19 to start working full time, my biggest regret was never getting to study abroad. This visa would allow me to almost take back that regret. We shall see where life takes me but hopefully in a few months I will be blogging from Ireland with a few cute Irishmen by my side :)

In other news I have started an Isagenix Cleanse and this is day 1 of 15. I will blog separately for this in case anyone out there is also struggling with their weight and wants to try something. I am trying this due to a friends mom who is a trainer recommending it. I normally do not do fade diets so I figure a trainer knows best...

Well until the next post...
